Overview

How the SAP HCM syllabus is organised

SAP SuccessFactors brings the HR processes of a company onto a cloud platform. It stores the employee record in Employee Central and builds talent processes around it, such as hiring, onboarding, goals, reviews, learning and pay.

Each topic below combines the concept with practice on an SAP system. The order and depth can be adjusted for a batch, so ask for the current plan when you enquire. You can also download the brochure (PDF).

A hire-to-onboard journey in SuccessFactors

Practice should include walking through real business flows, for example:

A manager opens a job requisition in Recruiting.
Candidates apply, are screened and an offer is made.
Once accepted, the candidate moves to Onboarding and completes documents and tasks.
The new employee record is created in Employee Central.
Goals are set in Performance, and learning plans are assigned.

S/4HANA

What is different in S/4HANA

SuccessFactors integrates with S/4HANA for organisational and payroll-related data.
Integration Suite on SAP BTP is commonly used to connect SuccessFactors with other systems.
Employee Central Payroll can run payroll in the cloud for some countries.
